📍 JU Kulturni centar “Nikola Đurković”, Kotor | 19. maj 2026. | 12:00h

U okviru Festivala vjetra 2026, u Kotoru će biti predstavljena samostalna izložba Sail & Fly – Boka Kotorska, akademske slikarke Ivane Bjelice, nastavak projekta započetog u Muzeju pomorskog nasljeđa u Porto Montenegru u okviru Ocean Race Boka Bay 2025.

Ciklus Sail & Fly istražuje susret mora i vazduha – prostor između horizonta i neba, gdje jedrenje postaje metafora letjenja i unutrašnje slobode.

Kroz slike, crteže i grafike umjetnica je transformisala prepoznatljive motive u vlastitu likovnu poetiku, istražujući igru svjetla i sjenke, odsjaje i dubine.

📍 JU Cultural Center “Nikola Đurković”, Kotor | May 19, 2026 | 12:00 PM

As part of the Festival of the Wind 2026, Kotor will host the solo exhibition Sail & Fly – Boka Kotorska by academic painter Ivana Bjelica, continuing the project that began at the Maritime Heritage Museum in Porto Montenegro during the Ocean Race Boka Bay 2025.

The Sail & Fly cycle explores the meeting point of sea and air — the space between the horizon and the sky, where sailing becomes a metaphor for flight and inner freedom. In this chapter, the focus is placed on the Bay of Kotor: its mountains reflected in the sea, silent boats, historic towns such as Kotor and Perast, and the light that shapes the landscape and creates an atmosphere of timelessness.

Through paintings, drawings, and graphic works, the artist transforms recognizable motifs into her own visual poetry, exploring the interplay of light and shadow, reflections, and depth. The exhibition continues the narrative of her previous cycles, Mediterraneo and Depths, extending a long-term artistic exploration of the symbolism of water and its deeper inner meaning.

Sail & Fly is conceived as a traveling project — an exhibition that, over the coming years, will continue to “sail and fly” from place to place, constantly exploring the nature and culture of the environments in which it is created, and transforming those experiences into new artistic chapters.
