DESCRIPTION:*English Below* \nPanel I: Integracija politike\, nauke i zajednice u upravljanju obalom \n📍 Opstina Tivat  |  7. maj 2026. | 09:00h \nNakon uspješno realizovanih prethodnih izdanja\, međunarodna naučno-stručna konferencija „Boka Kotorska kao održiva nautička destinacija“ u 2026. godini dobija prošireni format i dvodnevno izdanje u Tivtu i Kotoru. Konferenciju partnerski organizuju Jedriličarski klub „Delfin“\, Pomorski fakultet Kotor Univerziteta Crne Gore i Institut za biologiju mora UCG\, uz podršku opština Tivat i Kotor. \nKroz dijalog politike\, nauke i zajednice\, konferencija ima za cilj da otvori ključna pitanja upravljanja obalnim prostorom\, zaštite morske životne sredine i očuvanja kulturnog pejzaža Boke Kotorske. \nZnačaj konferencije prepoznat je i na međunarodnom nivou – organizacija The Ocean Race Europe govori o ovoj inicijativi na svom zvaničnom web sajtu\, ističući njen edukativni i društveni doprinos u okviru šire misije zaštite svjetskog okeana. \nKompletnom konferencijom predsjedava doc. dr Zorica Đurović\, prodekanica za razvoj i komunikacije Pomorskog fakulteta Kotor\, dok organizaciju skupa u Tivtu predvodi dr Slavi Petović\, naučna savjetnica sa Instituta za biologiju mora Kotor UCG. \nPrvi dan konferencije posvećen je modelima integrisanog upravljanja obalnim područjem\, sa posebnim fokusom na zaštitu morske životne sredine i očuvanje kulturnog pejzaža obale. \nSkup međunarodnog karaktera okupiće predstavnike relevantnih nacionalnih institucija\, naučnih organizacija i stručnjake iz regiona. Uvodno predavanje donijeće primjere dobre prakse iz Hrvatske\, sa posebnim osvrtom na upravljanje obalnim područjima u zaštićenim zonama i balansiranje razvojnih i ekoloških interesa. Uslijediće diskusija. \nOvaj dio konferencije usmjeren je ka jačanju saradnje između donosilaca odluka\, naučne zajednice i lokalnog stanovništva\, sa ciljem kreiranja održivih rješenja zasnovanih na znanju i odgovornom upravljanju prostorom. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPanel I: Integration of Policy\, Science\, and Community in Coastal Management \n📍 Municipality of Tivat | May 7\, 2026 | 9:00 AM \nFollowing the successful realization of previous editions\, the international scientific and professional conference “Boka Kotorska as a Sustainable Nautical Destination” expands in 2026 into a broader\, two-day format taking place in Tivat and Kotor. The conference is jointly organized by Jedriličarski klub Delfin\, the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor of the University of Montenegro\, and the Institute of Marine Biology of the University of Montenegro\, with the support of the municipalities of Tivat and Kotor. \nThrough dialogue between policymakers\, scientists\, and the community\, the conference aims to address key issues related to coastal zone management\, marine environmental protection\, and the preservation of the cultural landscape of the Bay of Kotor. \nThe importance of the conference has also been recognized internationally — The Ocean Race Europe has highlighted this initiative on its official website\, emphasizing its educational and social contribution within the broader mission of protecting the world’s oceans. \nThe entire conference is chaired by Zorica Đurović\, Vice Dean for Development and Communications at the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor\, while the organization of the Tivat segment is led by Slavi Petović\, scientific advisor at the Institute of Marine Biology Kotor of the University of Montenegro. \nThe first day of the conference is dedicated to integrated coastal zone management models\, with a particular focus on marine environmental protection and the preservation of the coastal cultural landscape. \nThis international gathering will bring together representatives of relevant national institutions\, scientific organizations\, and regional experts. The opening lecture will present examples of best practices from Croatia\, with a special focus on coastal management in protected zones and balancing developmental and environmental interests. A discussion session will follow. \nThis segment of the conference is aimed at strengthening cooperation between decision-makers\, the scientific community\, and local residents\, with the goal of creating sustainable solutions based on knowledge and responsible spatial management.
