U okviru Festivala vjetra 2026, 24. i 25. aprila, u akvatorijumu Tivatskog zaliva biće održana Mala tivatska regata Gadbois CUP, tradicionalno takmičenje namijenjeno mladim jedriličarima i jedriličarkama.

Mala tivatska regata već godinama ima posebno mjesto u kalendaru proljetnih regata, jer okuplja djecu iz jedriličarskih klubova Crne Gore. Regata je prepoznata kao događaj koji, pored rezultata, u fokus stavlja učenje, druženje i razvoj ljubavi prema moru i jedrenju.

Takmičenja će se održavati u klasama Optimist I ILCA, a regatno polje u Tivatskom zalivu ponovo će se ponovo potvrditi  kao idealan prostor za nadmetanja u malim klasama brodova – pregledan, zaštićen i istovremeno dovoljno izazovan za sticanje novih jedriličarskih znanja.

Mala tivatska regatta Gadbois CUP nosi snažnu simboliku podrške razvoju mladih sportista i jedrenja kao dijela lokalnog identiteta, a održavanje regate u okviru Festivala vjetra dodatno naglašava povezanost sporta, edukacije i kulture života uz more.

Organizator regate je Jedriličarski klub Delfin, uz podršku Richard and Frances Gadbois Foundation, partnera Festivala vjetra i crnogorske jedriličarske zajednice. Mala tivatska regata i ove godine ostaje podsjetnik da se budućnost jedrenja gradi upravo na ovim startnim linijama – strpljivo, posvećeno i s pogledom ka pučini.

As part of the Festival of the Wind 2026, on April 24 and 25, the Little Tivat Regatta Gadbois CUP will take place in the waters of Tivat Bay — a traditional competition dedicated to young sailors.

For many years, the Little Tivat Regatta has held a special place in the spring regatta calendar, bringing together children from sailing clubs across Montenegro. The regatta is recognized as an event that places learning, friendship, and the development of a love for the sea and sailing at the center, alongside sporting results.

Competitions will be held in the Optimist and ILCA classes, while the regatta field in Tivat Bay will once again confirm itself as an ideal venue for small-boat competitions — clear, protected, and at the same time sufficiently challenging for gaining new sailing skills and experience.

The Little Tivat Regatta Gadbois CUP carries strong symbolism in supporting the development of young athletes and preserving sailing as part of the local identity. Holding the regatta within the Festival of the Wind further emphasizes the connection between sport, education, and the culture of life by the sea.

The regatta is organized by Jedriličarski klub Delfin with the support of the Richard and Frances Gadbois Foundation, partners of the Festival of the Wind and the Montenegrin sailing community.

This year once again, the Little Tivat Regatta remains a reminder that the future of sailing is built precisely on these starting lines — patiently, passionately, and always with a view toward the open sea.
